AN EFFECTIVE EMOTION-FOCUSED APPROACH

The AEMD method (Analyse Émo-Comportementale David Démann – Emotional and Behavioural Analysis) could be described as collaborative blend of CBT (Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies), the fundamentals of psychoanalysis and innovative research on emotional material.

It is an effective approach that invites deep and intimate inner work.
We use emotion as the catalyst, an ‘energy in motion’ that creates genuine movement and change.

Together we will uncover the precise direction where true progress lies. Often where you least expect it.

Old patterns, lingering thoughts, past trauma and limiting beliefs can hold us back from experiencing our authentic selves. This process is about finding your own true voice and identity.

OVERVIEW

I am a certified therapist in Emotion and Behaviour Analysis (method AEMD). This therapy focuses on meaningful lasting change to enable you to live more autonomously. It is collaborative, not something done to you but something you initiate for yourself.

My approach is flexible, based around emotions, person centred and paced rather than a quick fix.

Behind the obstacles that keep us from functioning at our full potential lie unprocessed emotions.

By identifying, feeling, and restoring these emotions to their rightful place, we can begin to act and interact with greater freedom. Together we will create a space for effective change.

Working as the facilitator, I am interested in the processes that create this positive shift.

ABOUT ME

What led me to train in the AEMD method in Paris with the founder David Demann.?

Originally from Paris, I have now lived in London since 2003. I have always been curious seeker of the connections between mind and body. Something that started as purely observational in childhood, picked up pace and became stronger when I had my own children.

I discovered Vedic meditation in 2013 which uncovered a path to the potential changes possible through the power of breathwork. This is something I continue to practice today.

My background as a freelancer in films and advertising led me to work closely with people from many interesting walks of life.

In 2019 I was looking for natural skincare options for myself. All the research eventually led me to creating my own high quality organic skincare oils. The launch of ‘Relaxayvoo’ was instinctively mindful of the emotional connection between scent and our senses.

More recently I have been exploring additional therapeutic techniques pursuing my training with the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy in London.

PRATICAL INFORMATION

I practice in both French and English and can meet in person in London (occasionally in Paris) and online.

I offer a free 30 minute introductory call to discuss the method, your main objectives and to allow you the opportunity to assess if we are a good fit.

Thereafter each 1 hour therapy session is £120
